ROM E-Volunteering

edit

Hi, Samstar14! Welcome to the ROM E-volunteering project. I'm Molly McGowan or MJMcGowan on Wikipedia. I oversee all of the e-volunteers. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for becoming part of our team!

Hi Samstar14, This is MJMcGowan because you put your article up for the article for creation process, I don't have access to it unless you send me the article for review link. If you send it to me, I can give you feedback. Thanks --MJMcGowan (talk) 18:22, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Found it. Please look at my suggestions. First look at the current Royal Ontario Museum page. History article should build off what is summarized in the history section of this page. The history page should not just repeat the same information listed here. All of the galleries are listed on the main wikipedia page therefore there is no need to repeat them here. Secondly, look at other pages to see the correct way to cite your references and external links. Links that are already cited should not be recited in the external links sections. However you could add a See also section and link the Royal Ontario Page and the Iconic objects pages to this. Also try to diversify your sources, there are many many resources regarding ROM history. Let me know if you need additional help. Good attempt. --MJMcGowan (talk) 20:26, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello ROM E-Volunteer, We have moved to a different wiki project which can be found here: Wikipedia:GLAM/ROM. If you would like to continue contributing to ROM based wikipedia articles please feel free to add yourself to our member list. We will no longer be referring to our project as e-volunteering. Instead, users can feel free to contribute to articles listed under the "tasks" tab. Feel free to contact me via the my talk page with any questions. Thanks --MJMcGowan (talk) 21:58, 27 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/History of the Royal Ontario Museum

edit

Hello, Samstar14. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "History of the Royal Ontario Museum".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/History of the Royal Ontario Museum}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Calliopejen1 (talk) 18:52, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
