editHi SanaMinaMomo! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Devil Beside You that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Stultiwikiatext me 17:17, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi! Can you please translate this video of Min Hee Jin Press Conference from Korean to English?
editThis is the video. Simply just add english subtitles please. https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Min_Hee_Jin_Press_Conference_April_2024_with_audio.webm 67.230.43.126 (talk) 22:03, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. I have started to add english subtitles. I have never done this before so it took me a bit to figure out how to do it. I only added a few lines, and I will complete it later on. I'm still learning to sync the words with the right parts of the video, so please forgive me if it is not perfect. I will do my best. Thankyou. SanaMinaMomo (talk) 14:30, 27 May 2024 (UTC)

Unicode chart translation request
editHello. I maintain multilingual Wikimedia charts showing roadmaps to the various planes of the Unicode Standard.
I'm hoping you will provide proofread Japanese and Korean translations for me. (I noticed your user name on the Wikipedia:Translators available list.)
The specifics are at User:Drmccreedy/roadmap_multilingual.
I machine translated the text as a start. See User:Drmccreedy/roadmap_multilingual#Languages_to_proofread.
After the charts have been updated they can be added to the Japanese and Korean Unicode articles.
Thank you for any help you can offer. DRMcCreedy (talk) 21:45, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. I would love to help but im a little lost and confused as to what i need to proofread? sorry if im just being a bit slow or something but im just a little confused. Do you want me to proofread the literal words in the table (such as 'african scripts' or 'tags')? thanks. SanaMinaMomo (talk) 12:20, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- No apology needed. Yes, please proofread the literal words in red at the Japanese and Korean tables. You can either tell me what needs to be fixed or just update User:Drmccreedy/roadmap_multilingual directly changing the red text to green by changing the underlying template from red (
{{!xt|text}}
) to green ({{xt|text}}
). I'll then use that as input to change/update the images used for the roadmaps. Thanks. DRMcCreedy (talk) 14:41, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

- Hi, sorry about that. I went through and removed all those sources and put new ones, and made some more edits, but when I published it and sent it back for review it didn't include my changes. I don't know why. But i swear I did remove those unreliable sources, however when i try to edit it the changes dont seem to save? or something. I dont know. still learning. i think maybe it saved it as an older version or something. Sorry it didnt go through and sent the old version. SanaMinaMomo (talk) 10:27, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
Translation
editHi there, I'm reaching out because I saw your name listed at Wikipedia:Translators available#Korean-to-English and was hoping you could help with a Korean translation. There's an article from The Chosun Ilbo that I'm getting some unclear machine translations on, especially when it comes to context.
This relates to our article at Michael Kim (businessman) - the subject of the article is on the talk page claiming that the whole section on tax penalty is inaccurate so I'm trying to flesh out the section to show a neutral POV.
From the article: https://weekly.chosun.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=21828
MBK파트너스 측은 “세무조사와 관련해서 어떻게 얘기를 들었는지 알 수 없으나, 그런 주장은 일부 노조 측에서 흘리고 다니는 것으로 들었다”며 “이런 부분들에 대해서 이야기할 필요도 없을 것 같고, 추징을 당한 적도 없다”고 취재를 거부했다.)
From my translations, I see the last sentence being either "we’ve never been subject to additional taxes" or "we've never been subject to punishment" but I want to make sure things are crystal clear due to the contention.
From your translation, do you interpret MBK Partners statement as being a refute of the article's overall assertion that they had ever been fined 40 billion won by National Tax Service? Or are they referring to "additional taxes" in a different manner?
Thanks! RachelTensions (talk) 02:01, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
