WikiProject Spam
editHello - I'm glad to hear you're interested in joining WikiProject Spam! As you're probably already aware, spam is becoming a huge problem here. We warmly welcome anyone who wishes to help fight it. First, have a read of Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam, which is pretty much our "charter" and describes the work we do. It would also help to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's external links guidelines (WP:EL) and spam guidelines (WP:SPAM). If after all that reading you decide you'd like to help, just add yourself to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam page. To do this, edit the page, scroll to the bottom, then add the following:
# ~~~~ COMMENT
where COMMENT is anything you'd like to say as way of introduction.
Then, all you have to do is remove spam. It's that easy! To help coordinate your work, you can add Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam to your watchlist. That page is a bulletin board of sorts for WPSPAM members to discuss spam-removal work. Feel free to chime in there with anything you need help with, or to help someone who needs help. You can also leave another message on my talk page as well if you need any help.
Also, I see no one has welcomes you to WP yet. Allow me to be the first:
