Sir, I will appreciate if you dont make up stff, I happen to be from Poonch and we dont have Punjabis etc there. Also Jhelum is not part of Poonch, alexander never came here, so dont edit if you dont know the facts.
.. I think Mr. Sudhan u wrote i too:
The section on Poonch was pretty complete which you have changed without any facs, I happend to be from Poonch and we dont have punjabis there, The poonch in AK is the headquarters of Sudhan tribe so dont make changes until you can verify.

editplz sign at the end so that I can reply. Tribal headquarters?!? Poonch is a district of India as well as AJK. Poonch city is in Indian Poonch. And what facts are you talking about? Try to be more specific next time.
There was already a page for the AJK Poonch. Some body redirected it to my page. Go and write there.
Saorabh.
Punjabis
editI am not sure where there are punjabis in Poonch. As far as I know, the citizenship of Kashmir was based on indigenous people immigrants were never given citizenship. Maybe in Indian Poonch that is the case where Punjabis have settled but in our Poonch we dont have Punjabis, we have Pathans who run shops but cannot vote and have no rights.
I am happy to see that you have started the page and I edited it, maybe I will learn a lot about the Indian Poonch. My father was born in Indian Poonch and my grand father was the headmaster of the school in the 1930's. Thanks for your information. Please keep in touch my email is taroil@yahoo.com
I just hope that our Poonch can be one again and we can stop these fights.
Poonch
editSir:
I copied for you the following from your insertion:
Around 326 BC when Alexander invaded the lower Jhelum belt to fight Porus, this region was known as Dravabhisar.
If one reads this it seems that somehow alexander was in Poonch city. This needs to be clarified so people who are not as educated in the English language can read the same and understand the meaning. If you mean that the region of Poonch was known as Dravabhisar, than you should rewrite the paragraph so it is clear. Such as "Poonch was known as Dravabhisar during the time when Alexander invaded lower Jhelum. Also you need to give the sources for stating this fact
Thanks
I've read it in an article on Poonch's history. I'll soon come out with its source. Peace.
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Poonch.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Poonch.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 12:27, 12 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:27, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
