--Stromline (talk) 20:43, 1 November 2020 (UTC)Hi Sarah, Hope you are well. Thanks for your work on maintaining Wikipedia's neutrality. I appreciate the time you put in to make this a good space. I understand you unfortunately had to delete the page I created, for being promotional. I was hoping you could give me another chance to rewrite it, with a more neutral point of view. I did have the article in sandbox for a while so I could collect feedback before publishing, but as there were no comments or remarks, I thought it had been implicitly approved.. I'd be so very grateful, if you could restore the page in order for me to edit it to wikipedia's standard, or if that is not possible, could you please send the article to me so I can edit in sandbox and perhaps you could have a look whether it meets your standards before I publish? I hope to hear from you, about how I can best proceed! :) Thanks again! Nina --Stromline (talk) 20:43, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Stromline. Unfortunately I can't restore the article because promotional content is not allowed anywhere on the site, even in a sandbox or user page. I will email you the contents of the page though and you can work on it off site. You might want to check some other articles in the topic to see how they are worded, it will give you an idea of the tone Wikipedia looks for. If you have something in a sandbox and would like feedback on it before publishing then you can use the Articles for Creation process, or you can paste {{subst:submit}} at the top of the page. Let me know if you need any more help. Sarahj2107 (talk) 08:58, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Mitch McCarthy Page Deleted in 2016
Hello Sarah, I noticed that you deleted a page for Mitch McCarthy in 2016 and was wondering if you could help me restore that page due to his updated body of work. I was on the Wiki page for Olivia Rodrigo's track Drivers License<ref>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drivers_License_(song)</ref>, which is the current #1 song in the world <ref>https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/olivia-rodrigo-s-drivers-license-debuts-at-no-1-on-billboard-hot-100-more-chart-news-billboard-news/vi-BB1cU2bK</ref> and noticed his credit and that he did not have a page. He has had an expansive career since 2016, mixing other huge top 40 hits for artists such as Melanie Martinez and Carly Rae Jepsen<ref>https://www.discogs.com/artist/2872169-Mitch-McCarthy?page=2</ref>. Please let me know if restoring his page would be possible so that I could update it. Thank you! Sweetjaegs (talk) 02:24, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Sweetjaegs, I've had a look at the deleted article and spent some time looking through available sources. I'm sorry but I don't think there is significant coverage about him in multiple independent sources, which is what we require to establish notability. And unfortunately Olivia Rodrigo's song being number 1 doesn't help as the song's notability doesn't mean everyone involved is also notable. Sarahj2107 (talk) 08:55, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Sarahj2107, since our last conversation there have been many new articles that have come out about Mitch McCarthy including from Headliner Magazine[1], a feature in Sound on Sound[2], and Billboard[3]. I believe that this would constitute as significant coverage that would establish notability. Let me know what you think, thank you! Sweetjaegs (talk) 22:13, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Sweetjaegs, I'm still not convinced it would pass another AfD but the sources are better than before. I have restored and moved the article to Draft:Mitch McCarthy where you can work on improving it and adding the new sources. I suggest putting it through the Article for Creation process before it's moved to main space again, if it's moved back in its current state it will likely be speedy deleted. Your help with removing a flag
Hello Sarah, many thanks for cleaning up the external links on this new page: Despina Chatzivassiliou-Tsovilis. I wondered if you could advise on citations/sources, which are still flagged as a problem - in essence, what I still need to do to remove the flag! I have tried to include plenty of original, verifiable mainstream sources - leading newspapers in Greece, the Greek parliament, a well-known European news agency, and so on - and am wondering what more I need to do. Also tried to clean up the references to bring them into line with guidelines. Do you feel the flag can now be removed? Can you do that? (since I believe it would be a "conflict of interest" for me to do so). If not, can you advise on what I still need to do to have it removed? Many thanks! GAKM (talk) 16:49, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hello GAKM, I've had another look and I can see you have added quite a few references since the flag was added. There are a few sentences that could use a source for verification, her date and place of birth, and the quote in the Vision section. If you can get those then let me know, I'll remove the flag. Sarahj2107 (talk) 17:27, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi again Sarahj2107, thanks for that very swift and positive reply! I'll take a look at those last points now and get back to you. For the quote in the "Vision" section, there was indeed an external link to the web page giving the original source (one of the ones I think you removed, in fact!) but I will put it as a footnote reference rather than an in-line external link, and that should hopefully do it. Question about deleted page
Hi Sarah!
Yesterday I created a page for SnapSolve, which is an online-learning App. And it was deleted because Wikipedia thought the content is not objective enough. So I was about the change the content. And Wikipedia suggested that I should talk to you first. Do you know how can I change it? Do I just create a new one for it? Thank you so much!
- Hi Blackcat Strawberry, I can't recreate the page for you to change as it is too promotional in tone and would need to be completely rewritten. You can try creating a new one but please make sure you have read the guidelines of spam and promotional content first. Sarahj2107 (talk) 10:32, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

I have noted that you have voted the page mentioned on the subject/headline to be deleted, the issue has been fixed. if there is any issue with the page please let me know I will attend to it.--Willingtonw (talk) 22:23, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Willingtonw, unfortunately the issue has not been fixed. All three creations of the article are copyright violations and the latest version will be deleted shortly. For legal reasons Wikipedia cannot host material which violates copyright. You would have to completely rewrite the entire article in your own words. I have previously given you information about copyright and links to relevant articles on your talk page, I strongly suggest you read those before creating any more articles. If you continue to post copyrighted material you will be blocked from editing. Sarahj2107 (talk) 07:24, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

I have seen your reply but I was frustrated as to why the content was a copyright infringement, to which you pointed out the source ("http://afadwu.org.za/about?tab=about") where the copyright right infringement has occurred. The reason I did not note that as a copyright issue is that I was the same person responsible for writing that content as well as responsible for the development of the website, as you could notice from the website header tags. My apologies for the confusion or misunderstanding caused. Can you advise in this case, I know you have suggested that I should rewrite it again in your previous reply, and suggested that you may remove me from editing in the future. --Willingtonw (talk) 12:19, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Sweetaj Brar
Hii Sarahj2107, I hope you're doing well. Actually I created an article "Sweetaj Brar" At first it was deleted under the afd but I created it Again because subject is notable now as her song "Care Ni Karda" has been featured on Asian Music Chart.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Asian Music Chart Top 40 {{!}} Official Charts Company|url=https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/asian-music-chart/|access-date=2021-05-04|website=www.officialcharts.com|language=en}}</ref> For which, point two criteria matches. But you deleted my article without checking these facts. I request you to return my article as well. Suchayaar (talk) 03:31, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Suchayaar. I didn't delete your article without checking all the facts first. The article was almost identical to the version deleted through AfD 3 weeks prior, there were no new sources showing signifiant coverage and I do not believe the Asian Music Chart is enough to meet point 2 of WP:MUSICBIO as it is not a "country's national music chart". You can take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review if you want another opinion on this. Sarahj2107 (talk) 07:30, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Tina Dabi
Hi, would you please chime in on my talk page at User talk:Anachronist#Tina Dabi? You deleted Tina Dabi a few years ago and I create-protected it. I am concerned that Draft:Tina Dabi, which the reviewer wants to move to main space, doesn't address the concerns in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tina Dabi, which you closed. ~Anachronist (talk) 13:01, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

- Consensus has been reached to delete all books in the book namespace. There was rough consensus that the deleted books should still be available on request at WP:REFUND even after the namespace is removed.
- An RfC is open to discuss the next steps following a trial which automatically applied pending changes to TFAs.
- IP addresses of unregistered users are to be hidden from everyone. There is a rough draft of how IP addresses may be shown to users who need to see them. This currently details allowing administrators, checkusers, stewards and those with a new usergroup to view the full IP address of unregistered users. Editors with at least 500 edits and an account over a year old will be able to see all but the end of the IP address in the proposal. The ability to see the IP addresses hidden behind the mask would be dependent on agreeing to not share the parts of the IP address they can see with those who do not have access to the same information. Accessing part of or the full IP address of a masked editor would also be logged. Comments on the draft are being welcomed at the talk page.
- The community authorised COVID-19 general sanctions have been superseded by the COVID-19 discretionary sanctions following a motion at a case request. Alerts given and sanctions placed under the community authorised general sanctions are now considered alerts for and sanctions under the new discretionary sanctions.
