FYI Quintard was not exactly abandoned. It was still around after ceasing to be Military but it became co-ed. Eventually "Sewanee Academy" merged with Saint Andrews...on THEIR campus. The University took over the buildings on the Sewanee Academy campus -- but they were already under their control anyway.
