editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Way Beyond Blue has been reverted.
Your edit here to Way Beyond Blue was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/Catatonia-Way-Beyond-Blue/release/689183) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Replacing redirects with articles
editFor future reference, the correct way to request that a redirect be deleted so that it can be replaced by an article is to file for G6 speedy deletion. Blanking the page is a considerably less reliable way of getting an administrator's attention. signed, Rosguill talk 19:54, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Rosguill,
- In my naivety as a new editer of Wikipedia I made the mistake of thinking it would be a simple switch if the re-direct link was deleted from the page. My mistake! I will remember your guidance for future reference. In any case, another editer with administrator credentials has been kind enough to resolve the issue on this occasion.
- Kind regards,
