Hello, Schave65, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

I reverted your edits to the Spiny lobster page

edit

I reverted your edits to the Spiny lobster page, so I wanted to bring up some issues here on your talk page, as well as the comments I provided in the edit summaries where I reverted your edits. Your first edit appeared to be from an IP address. It looks like you forgot to log in. But that first edit appeared to be talking about a 2022 study and making comments about reproduction. But what you added did not seem relevant to the Spiny lobster article. Instead of talking about the study, instead provide some sort of conclusion from that study that is relevant to the topic. The closest I saw was maybe something about how spawning season is associated with monsoon seasons. Then your second edit added exactly the same thing again, but this time from your user account. This duplication was not needed. Then your final 3rd edit removed the Lead, and moved it down to the "Description" section. This was wrong for several reasons: all Wikipedia articles need intro sections (called Leads), you didn't provide any reasoning for this big change in your edit summary, and the contents of that intro paragraph aren't even really appropriate for the "Description" section since they don't talk about the description or appearance of the Spiny Lobsters.
