About Infant mortality article

edit

Hello Peaceray: Thanks for your welcoming words. I would like to "talk" to you about the "Infant mortality" entry but I don't know how to do it in the article. I hope here is OK. The edit I made was because I found the article confusing. It has the heading "Causes" then another "Main Causes". The "Causes" section lists indirect or distant causes while the "Cause" section is direct or proximate causes. I was trying to make this distinction clearer. Changing the heading was just a start and I was going to rewrite the sections to try to make them clearer. Obviously I am new here and just trying to find some small ways to find my footing and to start to make a positive contribution. Have a Happy Holiday. Hi Schrodinger's gateau, the best place to talk about Infant mortality is at Talk:Infant mortality, where other editors may view discussion & join in. Discussion on individual users' talk pages is often only seen by the two editors in discussion.
I would recommend that you read a couple of pages first:

@Schrodinger's gateau, please review Wikipedia guidelines like WP:No original research, WP:verifiability, and WP:PRESERVE as you get the lay of the land. In the meantime, try not to revert edits on Stochastic terrorism, especially well-sourced ones, and try to engage in productive 'yes and' edits and talk page dialogue. Happy to help answer any more questions you might have - we could really use more editors like yourself making invaluable contributions to the site and to these important topics.
