On reporting the COI of Servetus article
editHi, I did not report it because it is true the consensus of editors supported the changes in the biography sections. I started to see bad faith when he insisted on the works. A COI deserves sometime to show good faith. So I granted him some months. Then I saw how obsessed he is and how he just wants to destroy, anything related to that scholar, and with multiple lies. A member of a historical figure institution, trying to deny the works of the historical figure. It was strange from a start. There is a very simple explanation, no support granted to the works cause of the indirect support it would grant to the other contributions of that scholar, the true identity of Servetus, and with it, his birthplace , all that user cares about. The insititute is located in the previous birthplace so, you can see what goes on. They have some problems, gonzalez was respect and he did publish under the MSI a new work by Michael, now what? now they say it is not true? Pretty ridiculous, or better said, obnoxious. Ah, the great theatre of the world.. --Anatoly Ilych Belousov (talk) 18:59, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia policy on personal attacks
editPlease do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. WP:NPA --Do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks do not help make a point; they only hurt the Wikipedia community and deter users from helping to create a good encyclopedia. Derogatory comments about other contributors may be removed by any editor. Repeated or egregious personal attacks may lead to blocks. --Jdemarcos (talk) 20:31, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
Talk:Michael Servetus Archive
editI have removed your comment on this page as it was in a portion that violated policy, specifically including WP:NPA. Archiving a talk page (as I noted on the linked page) is standard practice. Personal attacks are never acceptable on Wikipedia. The issue went through COI/N and is resolved. Pushing it further may be construed as being disruptive or as a personal attack. Either can lead to you being blocked. --Nouniquenames (talk) 04:30, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
