Much of this article is from first hand accounts...when trying to establish the Bran.B page as legitimate historical content, please understand that wikipedia will be one of the first real sources in print for other future citations...another words I am trying to estabablish this article beginning here. Please take this into consideration before deleting it. We don't make things notable, we only report what already is. Namely, one article created (not finished entirely) by me was deleted by you in suspicion of being advertising. Now, the thing is that I have never actually written an article the way that the encyclopedia needs it written. For this I need help! I would like to write two articles. 1st is about a language project (one of a kind) that I have been working on one whole year and have finished a month ago, which has been reviewed and marked as excellent by two linguists from my school and from the university for language learning in Belgrade. The language has it's own writing scripts (two of them) and the grammar is totally new and different from any language that they have ever seen. I have been working on making it phonetically and not semantically and logically adaptive to humans, but speakable, readable, writable and real time understandable. I want to make an article about it as well and to put it in the list of other fictional (made/created) languages that exist on Wikipedia. I hope that this is not against the rules. 2nd is the OS that I have made as a school project. Many people have put their OS's on Wikipedia and there they are. MenuetOS, MiniX OS and others are all small projects of non commercial OS's that are NOT used like Linux, Mac or Windows, but are still there. Why would I be banned from doing so as well when the OS is configurable, editable and programmable as well as those are? And 3rd is about the maker of those two! Myself! I would like to write just a bit about who made the language and the OS just like Tolkien and others; and Linus have their profiles. Doing something that I do not gain profit from and have made solely open for the public would ensure that I may get a place in Wiki as well ans many others who have made their own articles about their own stuff (and I do not want to have it made as an advert) since it IS NOT available on the net and no other external links would be placed there! In the article of Gohar Shahi, you have mentioned that Gohar Shahi was arrested in a murder case, which is contrary to facts, he was never ever arrested under any charge. Moreover, when you are writing that the teaching of Shahi were condemn by Muslim Scholars, you should also mention that what was his teaching which were opposed by Muslim. What were the reasons that he was given life-term thrice? I think either you should take necessary action to make this article as an appropriate source of information on Gohar Shahi or let others do. Regards, Julie and Eric Slick It's interesting that the Adrian Belew Trio, a band that contains one notable and two "notable" people was speedy deleted while the subject articles were not. I know this is a WP:WAX argument, but I think yours was also a WP:NOTINHERITED one. I don't see "plays in a band with a notable person" under WP:NMG (actually, point 6 seems to justify keeping the Trio instead). I realize these aren't absolute rules, but I don't think Eric and Julie satisfy the general intent of those guidelines. I'm not going to war to get these removed, but keeping Julie and Eric seems a little inconsistent. Different admins have different thresholds when applying CSD A7 deletions; I may have been more conservative than Naconkantari (talk · contribs). In fact, I think that admin may have overstepped, since the content of that article clearly stated "the trio toured throughout the East, South, & Western United States" and included the aforementioned notable artist. Sounds like an assertion of notability to me. Keeping up with them may be more trouble than it's worth. You're obviously a busy guy, but if you have a moment, could you (1) restore the deletion notice (I would do this, but I don't yet know how), and (2) consider locking the page, perhaps after reverting it to some earlier version? I still think it is a good idea to inform a Wikipedian on his or her talk page when his or her article is deleted. One of the alumni currently serving in Iraq is in the elite army Airborne rangers and I have found one citation for that. I was unfortunate to have been prescribed this dangerous yet highly profitable drug for five years. Four of those being because I couldn't get off of it. I'm curious as to how many "anecdotal" reports of the exact same symptoms equal a hint of truth? 10,000? One million? A high percentage of these people trying to discontinue their use of Paxil (or other SSRI/SNRI drugs) are suffering just as I did and need answers to what they are going through. "Brain zaps" are as definitively real as the ground beneath your feet. Along with the myriad of other debilitating withdrawal symptoms these drugs serve up. That is why the Brain zaps article MUST remain, be improved and properly documented (somehow) to offer people non-biased and factual information. On that note; due to a recent class-action litigation concerning withdrawal reactions, GSK was forced to release "sealed" internal documents and it turns out, of course, they knew all of these withdrawal symptoms (including "electric shock sensations") were real and demonstrable before they ever released the drug to the public. Please go to Google Images and type in "paxil money bag" then click the first image shown. Observe the "Confidential Pursuant to Protective Order" note on the side of the graphic. That will give you an idea. The article below the graphic is interesting as well. Truthful if not ironic. I do have some background in molecular biology myself so my views are not only from a "Paxil victim" POV but also as an informed academic like yourself. P.S. Seroxat being the British trade name for Paxil. The program explains how GSK manipulated trial data to get the drug approved despite lackluster efficacy results and how any negative data collected (such as suicidal ideation) was sealed and hidden from governmental and public access. This is why I am so concerned about the Paroxetine article. It states that Paxil performed significantly and consistently better than placebo in GSK trials. Even with my hard-line views, I would not go so far as to permanently block an editor for one instance of vandalism, especially when he has responded to the note on his talk page positively. Whilst I would agree that adding "I concur" to lots of discussions is unusual, it is certainly not vandalism; if anything it indicates a willingness to engage in discussion (a good thing). I would ask you to consider whether this block is in line with Wikipedia:Blocking policy as I don't see any evidence of "persistent vandalism". In your edit summary for the block you stated that "I'm sure others will concur that this account's only purpose is disruption". I have to say that I do not concur as the vast majority of this user's contributions are not disruptive (just a little odd). It might be that Mindman1 can be persuaded to engage in constructive editing. That method of salting pages is depricated, and the template is now up for deletion. While things can still change, the current discussion definitely looks headed towards deletion. Assuming that this happens, you will no longer be able to salt pages with the old method, and will need to begin using the newer salting method that involves cascading protection on the title, and allows recreation to be blocked while still having no article at the name, leaving it as a red link. Aspirin has just completed its two week run as the first Collaboration of the Week! Many thanks to those editors that contributed; the article got a lot of good work accomplished, and in particular, much work was done in fixing up the history section. It's still not quite "done" yet (is a wikipedia article really ever done?), but after two weeks I think it's more important to push onwards with the development of the new collaboration of the week program. I will be fixing up Aspirin in the next few days and possibly nominating it for either GA or FA status. Muscle relaxant has been selected as the new Collaboration of the week until October 2, 2007! This article is currently rated as a "stub", so it's got quite a bit of work cut out for collaborators! Admittedly, featured status could be a long way off,... but still attainable! At the least, maybe we could at least get it up to meeting the Good article criteria? Please stop by the article and help improve it. Resveratrol, having recently achieved GA status on August 16, 2007, is now making a run for featured status. This is quite a fascinating compound. Shortly, thereafter user 72.21.100.24 started doing some of the same things and it was obvious that 72.21.100.24 and Smuschiano were one and the same. On September 26th, you blocked 72.21.100.24 for 48 hours. Today he was back at it again when he blanked out a large part of my user page (which was subsequently reversed by DerHexer). I ask you to please block 72.21.100.24 again ... and preferably permanently this time. For someone with a law degree, he is acting like a child.
