Climate articles
editNowadays, climate article editing is done within the broader meteorology project. There have been improvements made to the state and country climate articles through the years, despite the inactivity of the climate project. However, climate editing of global warming articles has been very active over the years. As far as I can tell, a few former global warming article contributors were sanctioned in 2010 for violating WP:OWN and displaying non-wikipedia like behavior, which explains some of the tags on some of the global warming-related pages. However, they weren't improving general climate articles. Check out United States rainfall climatology and Climate of India to see articles of quality within the climate portion of the meteorology project. I hope you consider editing climate articles within wikipedia...there's a lot to do and few people willing to do it. If you ever get to the point of nearing burn out, take some time off. Let me know if you have any questions. Thegreatdr (talk) 17:22, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
