About Late harvest wine (and welcome)
editHi - You've added a rewrite of Late harvest wine twice now, which I've reverted. This may be a fairly rude way to welcome you, but there are a couple of problems with your version. First and most important, it sounds like a marketing blurb copied from somewhere. I can't find it on the web, but if it is copied from anywhere (not just the web) it can't be included in a Wikipedia article - please see Wikipedia:Copyrights. Second, it doesn't conform to many of the style conventions, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If it didn't sound so suspiciously like a copyright violation the second issue would be no particular problem (many contributors are happy to copyedit). If these are indeed your own words, references would help. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I actually do hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Please sign your name on talk pages (but not articles) using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question here (on your talk page) and then place {{helpme}}
after the question. -- Rick Block (talk) 16:30, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
