April 2012

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with UFC 143. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Also, don't prematurely close AfD discussions, they are there for a reason. kelapstick(bainuu) 02:17, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/UFC 142. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. These nominations are not vandalism. kelapstick(bainuu) 02:28, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

take a look at mtking he is the true vandal all over the boards the fans are saying so — Preceding unsigned comment added by ScottMMA (talkcontribs)
No, Mtking is editing Wikipedia in a manner consistent with the current policy. People on MMA web forums saying he is vandalising it doesn't make it true. Thank you. --kelapstick(bainuu) 02:44, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Kelapstick. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Yasht101 02:34, 21 April 2012 (UTC) why no notice for mtking he is trying to delete all the mma pages ?Reply

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Mtking with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. SeaphotoTalk 05:36, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

why are you going to block me he is the one deleted stuff

Don't blank other user's talk pages

edit

It can be considered vandalism as well. If you want help, start a new section on the talk page, do not blank it. --kelapstick(bainuu) 05:40, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you need help, try placing {{Help me}} on your talk page and some one who is well experinced will help you. Thanks Yasht101 05:43, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I need for someone in authority to help me and my fellow mma fans mtking and his fellow anti-mma party are doing their best to delete all the mma pages. Some have gone already such as UFC 149, UFC 154, KSW XIX, KSW Extra, ProElite: Grove vs. Minowa and a number of the ShoMMA : Strikeforce Challengers series, how do we get them back and stop this vandalism ?

If the articles have been deleted then it was through due process, with consensus from experienced Wikipedians to do so. Wikipedia articles are deleted all the time for a number of reasons. Usually they don't meet notability standards. This is not vandalism, it's just how Wikipedia works; see the deletion policy. Some of the articles you've mentioned now redirect to existing articles anyway. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me here or on my talk page. OohBunnies! Sockpuppetry case

edit

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/63.3.19.129 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Newmanoconnor (talk) 22:26, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

AfD

edit

I closed the AfD you started on 2012 in UFC events. I understand you're frustrated by the recent merges of individual MMA event articles. This is not a constructive way to express that frustration. I can assure you that starting a battle will accomplish nothing. I can assure you this because I tried it myself one time, when I first started editing here. If you really want to help, spend a few hours familiarizing yourself with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and try advancing an argument that is based on them. If you really want to help, try entering into a constructive and civilized conversation with Mtking and other editors who believe the individual event articles are not notable. These are the only types of actions that will make a difference on Wikipedia. Continuing to be disruptive will only serve to get you blocked from the site. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. ‑Scottywong| spout _ 14:14, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Help

edit

How do i appeal mtkings deletions of mma articles to the site management also can someone give me a list of the ones he has deleted ?

See Wikipedia:Arguments to make in deletion discussions & Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions. Wikipedia:Deletion review for deleted articles if you can show indepth coverage by multiple separate independent reliable sources with no financial interest. Wikipedia has no management, but such complaints may be filed at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents (read the requirements before posting, and I suggest reading the current board for formatting); please remain WP:CIVIL, Focus on the action, not the editor, and Wikipedia:Don't shoot yourself in the foot. There is nothing in his recent deletion log; I don't know if older deletions are listed. Anyone may post to User talk:Jimbo Wales, which is highly watched. Good luck. Canvassing

edit

Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on others' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Alternative proposal on ANI

edit

Hey ScottMMA. Just letting you know I posted a proposal in ANI that maybe everyone should take a break from the AfDs and ANI discussions for a bit so we can all cool down and also think about what criteria we could base evaluation of MMA articles on (i.e. build consensus to re-write WP:MMANOT). As part of that, we could just shut down the current AfDs, and also leave already deleted articles alone until we have a new policy in place. I get the feeling I'm not really welcome in this discussion, but I thought I'd toss the idea out. If I can be of assistance, let me know. Thanks for your work on the project. (P.S. I'll be posting this to the other users mentioned in the most recent WP:ANI discussion. Feel free to let anyone else know as you see fit. Thanks!) --Policy Reformer(c) 04:24, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

edit

I have blocked you for a week. Making disruptive retaliatory AfD nominations, frivolous ban proposals against your opponents at ANI, and systematic campaigning for making Wikipedia coverage conform to "what the fans want" is unacceptable. Your activities have only been fuelling the ongoing feud over those martial arts articles and are disruptive. Fut.Perf. 08:29, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reverting against consensus

edit

Please do not revert against consensus as you did with UFC 148. The UFC articles you restored were deleted based on a community discussion, you are not permitted to unilaterally restore the pages without showing how they meet the notability criterial for Wikipedia. The deletion discussions closed as delete, please deal with it. --kelapstick(bainuu) 10:27, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reverting your editing against consensus is not edit warring. Thank you. --kelapstick(bainuu) 10:40, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
You reverts are considered vandalism, stop now or you will be blocked from editing again. --kelapstick(bainuu) 10:44, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

May 2012

edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at UFC 148, you may be blocked from editing. This includes the other UFC articles you have reverted. kelapstick(bainuu) 11:33, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for mass edit warring and disruptive editing against consensus straight off your previous block. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
