Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that in this edit to Liberal Democrats, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStartalk 09:04, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Keep them all in line? What are you talking about? The Scottish Liberal Democrat page still has the party as Centre only. They're definitely a centre to centre-left party in the UK — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheBadBassist (talkcontribs) 14:03, 17 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Social Democratic Party (UK), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.   Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Social Democratic Party (UK). If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop edit warring and against raft of references that state that this was a "centre party". Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 21:22, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Social Democratic Party (UK) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Again, please refer to the many references stating the party was centre and stop giving your own POV. Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 21:30, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

An article you recently created, 1851 vermont gubernatorial election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. 1. What source are you taking your numbers from? (I can for a fact assure you that, too often, they do not match up with those than can be calculated form official results (and often this is way more than the decision of how to round off the decimals)
  2. Speaking of rounding, doesn't it make more sense to round mathematically and not down? This is usually the preferred convention for rounding (including, for example, elsewhere in the very same tables, with the percentages)
  3. Would you mind taking the time to ensure a coherent format by avoiding random gaps in the tables? It makes more sense to rank candidates not by the first preferences but by the order they were elected/eliminated (both aesthetically, but also because this puts the most important information at the top, and organises other important information - for examples which candidates were in the running for the final seat - in a more logical way).
