editHello. The reason I deleted the info was because that paragraph read like an advertisement, and did not establish the notability of the person Michael Leyton or his books. (It reads like a press release, not an encyclopedia article.) In fact, the Michael Leyton page also neglects to establish notability under the Wikipedia:Notability (academics) guidelines.
In general, there are many people who have written many books and articles about many things. Wikipedia has decided that it will not indiscriminately list the works and perspectives of anyone with something to say, even if they are authors or academics. However, if a person's works or ideas are truly notable (see the above guidelines as well as the general Wikipedia:Notability rules), then they should be mentioned, but in a neutral, plain-english, encyclopedic tone. -Nicktalk 20:14, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
