Levi's Stadium

edit

Hello. Your recent edits have been reverted. I have not seen a reliable source yet that states that the 49ers have decided to cancel the naming right agreement with Levi's for their new stadium. All content only Wikipedia must be verifiable, and have been previously published by a reliable source. Thank you. Zzyzx11 (talk) 01:27, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

In addition, I have looked at your recent edits, and you appear to be a single-purpose account. Apparently, your edits are only primarily concentrated on the Levi's Stadium article, and you appear to oppose the name with this edit comment. Wikipedia article titles are based on common name used by reliable sources, not your personal opinion that "It's a stadium, not a billboard". If most of the media continue to use "Levi's Stadium", like this one and this one, that is what the article should be, per Wikipedia's policies on article titles.
If you are only here to complain about Levi's naming rights deal with the 49ers' new stadium, and not here to build an encyclopedia, please go elsewhere. This is especially if your "Team decided to cancel deal" reason was a complete lie, and you clearly intended to fool other editors who may not be familiar with topics on the NFL. If you continue in this manner, this account may be blocked as a disruptive account. As you stated here, "blocking editors can be risky and have dire consequences". But this admin is not afraid to block any newcomer who very clearly is trying to push his own viewpoint, fool other editors, and has no intention to build an encyclopedia. Regards. as far as I know a "single purpose account" edits something and walks away. Also there is nothing wrong with protesting a name of a stadium. You've been around long enough to know you should be patient with new users. Scstadm (talk) 16:39, 9 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
There may be nothing wrong with protesting a stadium name, but protesting it by changing encyclopedic information is not a method of doing so. ZappaOMati 02:43, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
