editApologies for the late reply. The article was deleted because it was tagged with proposed deletion for five days and it has expired. Do you want to contest its deletion? - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 08:48, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- The article has been restored as a contested proposed deletion, but please note that it is liable to be nominated for deletion again via. an articles for deletion debate. - Mailer Diablo 13:34, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Two important aspects for an article's inclusion is to assert its notability, and ensuring that the article is verifiable with reputable sources. - Mailer Diablo 17:58, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Re: GNBlogo
editWhat should I have placed the license as? I am the creator of the content - and it is owned by Evil Global Corporation. Sdickert 18:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- (Image:GNBLogoUK.jpg) Are you actually the creator of that content? Even if you are, you say it is owned by the Evil Global Corporation. That means it is their copyright. I've added {{logo}}, but you will have to add the source (a specific URL would be fine), and a fair use rationale. Thanks, Fang Aili talk 18:51, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
re: GNB Logo - yes...
edit....I created it - and I am part of Evil Global Corporation. It is owned by them and we give permission. Is there a way to spell this out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sdickert (talk • contribs)
Copyright owners who submitted their own work to Wikipedia: If you submitted work to Wikipedia which you had previously published (especially online), and your submission was marked as a potential infringement of copyright, stating that you are the copyright holder of the work on the article's talk page helps, but will not likely prevent deletion. It is sufficient to either:
- Make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation.
Please do NOT copy and paste content to rename pages--use the Move tab
editThe Greg Warren (football player) article page should have been Moved to Greg Warren (NFL football)--not transfered via cut&paste. Using cut&paste separates the content from its edit history, which is a problem with the GFDL license, among other things, which admins then have to clean up. Thanks. The article Greg Warren (comedian) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Very few claims to notability, no sourcing found
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
