Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Yeborobo at the old blue last.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate images uploaded

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Sefa at Corbet Place.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Sefa at Corbet Place, 2007.jpg. The copy called Image:Sefa at Corbet Place, 2007.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 21:14, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Shimmy rivers and and canal

edit

A tag has been placed on Shimmy rivers and and canal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TheXenocide (talk) 01:54, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unexpected band member for múm

edit

Do you have a source indicating who Beck Rainford is that also indicates what musical groups he has been part of? I can not find any references to him online. Sebras (talk) 22:17, 27 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh, pardon me! Everyone named Beck I have read about before has always been a man. :-) I have searched online, I looked at the lines notes of Finally We Are No One, Yesterday Was Dramatic – Today Is OK and the bootleg "Friends of the Random Summer". I also looked at the liner notes from Nart Nibbles which is referenced quite heavily from the bootleg. Nowhere could I find a reference neither to Beck Rainford, nor Beck, nor Rainford. Are you positive she is not pulling your leg? I would have expected her name to creep up at least in the thank you section of the liner notes on the first official album or at the unofficial múm website forum, but there are no references. Based on this I think it's quite hard to verify that she actually participated. Though I have to admit that I have a personal interest in knowing if she has any live (or otherwise) múm-recordings that she is allowed to share? ;-) Sebras (talk) 02:00, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Seapijin! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 4 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Island Row.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Island Row.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. QU TalkQu 21:56, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Yeborobo

edit

The article Yeborobo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Do not satisfy WP:NBAND. No in-depth coverage, no notable releases, etc. Been in CAT:NN for 11 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – DarkGlow14:33, 20 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
