I would welcome suggestions for third-party references on the subject of OSA. Thanks for any other comments. Seeitnow 04:30, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Explanation of edit to Optical Society of America article at 00.51 22Jan2008. The anonymous user at IP address 12.46.35.11 changed the entry for SPIE in the "See Also" section to an external link (it had linked to a Wikipedia article), changed its location to the first entry (the organizations in the list were in alphabetical order), and inserted blank lines following the external link to the main OSA web site. The user also deleted the text that specified the full name of the acronym SPIE. Two reverse look-up engines list the registered owner of 12.46.35.11 as SPIE. Presumably, SPIE wishes to be known only by the acronym. I have restored the Wikilink and alphabetical order in the "See Also" section, removed blank lines, and inserted the external link in the External Links/Affiliated Organizations section in alphabetical order. This conforms to my reading of Wikipedia's preferred style. Seeitnow (talk) 01:24, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
