the subject is a famous person and deserves a wikipedia entry. Could you please suggest me whether I should remove some of the sources which might be a cause of this decline and try resubmitting the page? Sehar Awais (talk) 19:59, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Being famous is not one the criteria for meeting Wikipedia's definition of notability. You need to show through reliable independent sources with in-depth coverage about her she meets the criteria. Many of the sources are not reliable for example Forbes. Medium (and other blogs), Authority Magazine or other paid placements/PR fluff pieces, sources that are interview/mostly based on what she says. There's not a source cited that meets all the four criteria outlined above. S0091 (talk) 20:09, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
can I retry by researching more and replacing the references you have pointed out? Sehar Awais (talk) 20:12, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
To be clear, it's almost all of the sources. S0091 (talk) 20:14, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
you mean i should be trying creating a page for this person? Sehar Awais (talk) 20:32, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
should not Sehar Awais (talk) 20:34, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Unless you have better sources that meet the criteria, this person does not meet the notability guidelines so an article is not possible. S0091 (talk) 20:43, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
thank you Sehar Awais (talk) 20:44, 27 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sir please check I have tried not to use sources you highlighted on my draft article titled Hilary DeCesare. I hope you approve it this time Sehar Awais (talk) 12:42, 10 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Sehar Awais. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sehar Awais. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sehar Awais|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 08:02, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sir I have done that to ensure transparency. Secondly, I am truly apologetic for the edits that went wrong. Experiences make one learn to avoid mistakes in the future after all. Could you please check if the template for paid contribution has been rightly added on my user page by me? Sehar Awais (talk) 08:12, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please remove the "no wiki"code so that the template displays correctly. Theroadislong (talk) 08:21, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
