Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Abolition of the Ottoman Sultanate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lausanne Conference. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Gallipoli Campaign

edit

Hello - I can see you are trying to improve this article which is great; however, there really needs to be discussion about the way forward first. There are a number of issues with both of your edits in my opinion (just briefly one had too little information and no citations and the other one had too much information to be a useful summary). The Gallipoli Campaign article is currently listed as a Good Article and developed through a series of reviews. It is also a highly visible article so rather than making BOLD edits it seems to me that the best approach before making significant changes is to discuss any proposed change first on the talk page, develop a consensus about the proposal, and then implement those changes if there is agreement to do so. Anyway hopefully this clarifies my position. Regards. Anotherclown (talk) 00:54, 1 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. 1914 population statistics for the Ottoman Empire - data missing

edit

Hi SelimAnkara1993,

While editing the article 1914 population statistics for the Ottoman Empire, I reformatted the census results into a wikitable. However, I noticed a lot of the data missing. Do you possibly remember the source of the data? If so, could you perhaps fill in the remaining fields that are missing? Thanks! --Wikivizija (talk) 17:52, 3 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
