Hello, I'm Rhododendrites. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 23:42, 21 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Specifically, it looks like your account exists to add references to Schnabel, William - The Summer of Love and Haight: 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love without actually using it to improve Wikipedia. This is what we call "refspam". You're welcome to use sources to improve Wikipedia articles, of course, though if you do so they should meet the standards explained at the guidelines for identifying reliable sources, typically limiting use of self-published sources. Also, most obviously, the use of Wikipedia to earn money through Amazon referral links is something a lot of people watch out for, and likely to simply result in an editing block. (That's not a threat, to be clear -- I have no capability to instate such a block -- just a heads up). Please let me know if you have questions about this. I'm going to remove the insertions of this book for now based on all of the above. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 23:49, 21 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 01:29, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
