Cluttered

I'm a bit worried about all of the terms clustered together while all of them are run through Template:Nihongo. It just seems a bit cluttered. The largest example I can point out is in the Earth Release section.

Perhaps rather than compiling all of the Jutsu on one page, we can just abolish the jutsu list altogether and stick them onto their specific character's page once the plot cuts are done. That would work hand in hand with the idea of having an "Abilities and Fighting Style" section to replace the overly-done plot sections of character pages. I'm sure that the minor no-names don't have so many techniques each that it would be a problem to list all of their techniques there. Academy-based jutsu might go under the Academy students section of Naruto ninja ranks.

Trying to balance numerous promises I've made for Ben 10 articles, Naruto articles, the PCP, and people in real life (though, based on the topics I've just described, it's hard to believe that I have a real life...), I'll try to have an example of an "Abilities and Fighting Style" section ready for demonstration by next week, probably for an easier character like Shino or Tenten. The problem is that it makes greater sense for the jutsu to be placed into a centralized presentation. If you distributed the jutsu as per a character's specific fighting style, then it would be necessary to explain every single mention relating back to a larger topic. This becomes especially pronounced when dealing with more complex jutsu (i.e. the Puppet Technique, One Thousand Birds, Spiraling Sphere). I'm not saying that there can't be an abilities section on a page; to the contrary, this list should be shortened by distrubuting as many of the relevant categories that can be sorted. However, the categories that encompass several characters (which is basically all the major jutsu that require explanation and cover multiple characters) should be retained, lest it become necessary to explain the nunances of a single jutsu multiple times. Jutsu that fit under a specific type yet are more user-specific (such as Tsunade's Creation Rebirth) would probably be best under the character entries and only see passing mention here. Also, Gaara's jutsu account for 6KB of size, and whenever I, or someone else, feels like working it into his article, this list will be slightly shorter. I agree to the user-specific things. Fudge I tried to incorpurate the remaining images to the article and things like Hinata's Protection Trigrams and Neji's Eight Trigrams (Both of them) shouldn't be in the same area. Neji's moves are both Hyuga specific while Hinata's is special to her. just something I noticed. TheUltimate3 20:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
