Granted rollback
I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Bugs
Not really. I see no disruption. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 19:28, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Notice
Ciao, Sephiroth storm/Archives/2009. I'm posting to let you know that I have listed you as an editor who had an unsuccessful RfA in the not-too-recent, not-too-distant past on the talk page for RfA's here. If you are interested in running for administratorship (or not), or if you would like to make any comments, feel free to join the discussion. If you might be interested, but would like some private confidential feedback from experienced observers, I would be happy to propose this via the new vetting service. Regards, Skomorokh 18:17, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- i would be honored to accept your nomination for the vetting process. If the process goes well, I would accept a RFA nomination. Sephiroth storm (talk) 04:08, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- Great! Would you have someone in mind who you would like to receive and consider the emailed feedback? If you'd like to get it directly that's fine too :) Skomorokh 04:18, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- Besides you, you can send it to me. Thanks. :) Sephiroth storm (talk) 05:13, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
edit to hacker
Hi there. Just a quick note that your edit here on the talk page of the hacker article wiped out the box for archived discussions, which I'm assuming you didn't want to do. I see you've now been given rollback privileges, which should make this kind of thing easier (you can just rollback instead of deleting stuff manually), but you should be aware at all times of what you're doing when making edits to pages. I've restored the archive, but left out the nonsense. Thanks! Matt Deres (talk) 19:51, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you, I did not notice, I appreciate your sight. Sephiroth storm (talk) 20:04, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
If you can give me a day or two to fix up this article, I should be able to work on the formatting, establish notability with reliable sources, and expand the prose sufficiently to submit it for "Did You Know?" consideration. Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 06:22, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Creative computing solutions
Regarding the deleted article at Creative computing solutions, hopefully you remember the sequence of edits that occurred. Your revert of User:Ccssystems blanking the page and subsequent warning to him was not the correct thing to do. Since he was the original author of the article and he blanked the article, the correct thing to do was to re-tag the article with {{db-author}} and not issue any warning. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:25, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- My apologies. While I was aware he was the author, Based on the previous tags on the article, it appeared that at the time, the user simply meant to erase the CSD tag. I wasn't sure however, which is why I performed a manual revert and non-standard warning, just in case. Sephiroth storm (talk) 05:30, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
