Speedy deletion of Crimson Tower Software Foundation

edit

A tag has been placed on Crimson Tower Software Foundation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Request for Rollback

edit

Hi. I've declined this for the time being. Perhaps you could get by with WP:UNDO to demonstrate your knowledge of vandalism reversion first. In general rollback has no minimum requirements but just 20 edits is insufficent to demonstrate your ability to use the tool at this time. Feel free to reapply with a bit more editing history. The requesting adoption thing

edit

Hey, I noticed the adoption request thing on your userpage. I'm wondering what kind of thing you expect out of it and if I can help you :) Tombomp (talk/contribs) 21:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I just wanted some advice and guidance on how to best help Wikipedia. Up until now, I've only been doing small things, but I want to move up to a bigger role. Thing is, I really don't know where to start. Sephirothrr (talk) 22:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah, I know the feeling :) The most obvious thing is to just look at articles of stuff you're interested in and see what you can add/change or whatever. If you just like doing smaller things, the "Help out" section at the community portal has some ideas. There's also tedious but pretty easy stuff like vandalism patrol that just requires some basic understanding of what to do and the relevant policies. Please feel free to ask for help and stuff.
Also, here's the welcome thing, as you've never got it before!
Welcome!

Adoption

edit

Just passing by and wondering if you had found someone to adopt you or if you no longer needed it. If either of these is the case, perhaps you could remove the sign from your user page? If you are still looking then perhaps I can help. MSGJ 16:51, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
