Speedy deletion nomination of User:Servo626/sandbox

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Servo626/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Coffee Flour, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Do not remove AFC templates from declined drafts. It is considered disruptive. You may not have known that. Now you do. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:40, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Servo626. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Coffee flour, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Since you appear to be determined to push through your draft and are willing to state that a submission was "wrongly denied" (which implies that you know more than the reviewers), it appears that you almost certainly have a conflict of interest. Read the conflict of interest policy and the paid editing disclosure and make the paid editing disclosure if necessaryl Robert McClenon (talk) 14:43, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Draft: Coffee Flour, you may be blocked from editing. You have twice removed speedy deletion tags from your own draft. Please note that the removal of speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself is not permitted. You may contest the speedy deletion, but you may not remove the tags. Another removal of the tag may result in a block. Robert McClenon (talk) 15:30, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Coffee Flour Advice

edit

There was no misclick (as implied in the edit summary) in tagging your draft Draft:Coffee Flour for speedy deletion. If you think that the speedy deletion was too harsh, please ask for advice at the Teahouse. You may request undeletion at requests for undeletion to your draft space, but, if so, ask for advice about how to remove promotional language before resubmitting it. I thought that the inclusion of the registered trademark symbol (R) in a draft was promotional. Another respected editor thinks that a new editor would not have known this. They are probably right. However, you do know not to remove speedy deletion tags, which clearly instruct that they should not be removed by the author. So, if you want to have your draft reviewed, request its undeletion and ask for advice before resubmitting it, and continue to follow advice, such as not deleting anything that says not to delete it.
