Metroid 3.5 listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Metroid 3.5. Since you had some involvement with the Metroid 3.5 redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 21:58, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity

edit

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

GI scans

Hello Sesu Prime, I hope you're doing well. I saw you listed in the Reference Library for Game Informer and was hoping that you could help out. I'm trying to get a hold of the preview on the Serious Sam game in issue #130 (Feb 2004). Do you still have this issue available and would be able to scan these pages? Regards, IceWelder [] 18:39, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. Actually need some information on a Game Informer issue too. I am looking for the September 2000 issue with their review of Warlocked. It would be very much appreciated if you do have it. GamerPro64 00:40, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nintendo Power 224 & 226

edit

I am contacting you because you volunteer for the reference library. Can you verify a fact on Super Paper Mario, please?

The game received six award nominations from ''[[Nintendo Power]]'', including Wii Game of the Year and Game of the Year, and it won the Reader's Choice award in the Best Story/Writing category.{{cn|date=July 2020}}

This seems correct according to Fandom but it would be nice if you could verify it and add the source. Thanks a lot for your work! —Dexxor (talk) 13:17, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Martin IIIa: Hey bro, I dunno if you have been digging in this particular old thing, but I don't see it online to find a page number. Just curious. All the other Paper Mario articles have been Good nominated lately so maybe this one could do it. — Smuckola(talk) 21:01, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Martin IIIa: tee hee, never mind — Smuckola(talk) 01:37, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Greetings, Dexxor! That info is correct, and here are the scans from NP issues 224 and 226: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ozylt0fWOXqjukzguEv-zDhiztcasQ48?usp=sharing. Let me know if you need any other info for the references. Cheers! Sesu Prime 00:58, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Sesu Prime: thanks, I hope those can get uploaded to archive.org or retromags to fill in the holes. — Smuckola(talk) 01:37, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nintendo Power # 222

edit

Good evening (think other time of the day if applicable) Sesu Prime! My message has to do with the info that you have been volunteering at WP:VG's reference library as regards your Nintendo Power archive. As it happens, the page seems to indicate that you possess the Issue 222 of the magazine (December 2007), containing an interview with Michel Ancel that I take to be of academic interest. I wonder whether you would be willing to share scans of this article, if only it is within your convenience of course. Many thanks in advance. Electroguv (talk) 17:46, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Wow, thanks for the quickest reply, I have no idea how I didn't notice the response sooner! Much obliged for the scans. If that isn't too much to ask, I wonder if you could also consider sharing scans of the review for Shadow of the Colossus from the Issue 150 (October 2005) of Game Informer, seeing as those would be helpful for improving the WP:FAR situation that the game's article is currently undergoing. I would be very grateful to be able to count on your participation. Thanks again in advance. Electroguv (talk) 14:38, 31 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing! Here's the review from Andy McNamara with a second opinion from Joe Juba:
