Rösti potato?

Apologies for not explaining myself better, I love Rösti myself. What I meant to ask was whether there is a specific potato variety traditionally used in the prepartion of Rösti, and if so is actually named the Rösti potato?. Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 20:24, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

I wasn't sure if you mean the potato or the dish. I thought you could mean the potato. But it's probably my bad English that I didn't understand you fully. Well, I actually never heard about a variety of potatoes called Rösti too. Just Gschwellti, but that's not a variety. Just cooked and unpeeled potatoes...
