Cumberland High School (Wisconsin)

Cumberland High School is the only high school in Cumberland, Wisconsin. The mission of the Cumberland School District is to provide a well-rounded education that incorporates the highest standards and develops citizens with skills for life-long learning. Cumberland has many academic opportunities for students along with a long list of extracurricular activities, sports and clubs. The student to teacher ratio is 15 students per one full time teacher. This makes for smaller class sizes, never more than 25, which gives lots of one-on-one time for the students. The Cumberland High School Marching Band is well-known across the state for being an award winning band. They carry themselves with pride and the skills to back them up. The CHS marching band won their 11th state title in field show competitions in October 2012. Along with a great music program, Cumberland offers a variety of sports including football, volleyball, track & field, basketball, golf, soccer, wrestling, cross country, hockey, and softball. Other activities or clubs include cheerleading, dance team, drama, student council, forensics and the National Honor Society.
