editHello, I'm RandomCanadian. I noticed that you removed topically-relevant content from Tirukkuṛaḷ. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Simply because you disagree is not a reason to remove it, especially when it is as extensively sourced as was the case here... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 17:15, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, I’m not sure if you’re aware of the recent political skit in India. The inclusions quoting Kamil Zvelebil in this topic has bad intentions and those claims have already been proven wrong. You can clearly see them not included in the Tamil version of this same topic. No person who have actually read the book would support this baseless argument. I didn’t remove everything since not all of them have intentional background. Only the sources related to Kamil zvelebel are wrong. I hope you understand. Also, please checkout the Tamil version of this topic where it has solid sources. Thank you for your time. :) Sgky2k (talk) 17:38, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- The information has been unchallenged in the article for a long time - I see no reason why we shouldn't assume good faith. I have no clue about what's happening in India (much less about the Tamil version of the article, which is in a language I do not speak...), and even if I had I would probably think that political considerations should not bear influence on the work of a scholar – who, by the way, been dead for 11 years... Anyway, if you have issues with that, you should bring up the issue on the article talk page where all of this can be discussed to a satisfactory conclusion.
