Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Shadows of Music. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Your contributions seem intended to tell the world about what I presume is your band. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. This is an encyclopedia, where (in this case) bands must receive significant coverage in independent reliable sources that have chosen on their own to write about the band, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable band. Wikipedia is not interested in what a band wants to say about itself. Please review conflict of interest and paid editing. If your only goal here is to edit about your band, in the short term, this is the end of the line for your Wikipedia career. If there are topics completely unrelated to your conflict of interest that you want to edit about, please tell what those might be.
