The citation of Sanskrit nouns and noun cases for article "Kali."

Prathama and pancami seem the most popular cases for this noun stem? However, if you want to simply use the generalization "noun" that does seem more exacting, accommidating. Some Problems regarding Philosophy

Sir, since you know quite a lot about Mother Kali, please explain some of my personal problems.

• Firstly, what are the Birbhava, Prembhava and the Bhava-Samadhi.
• Secondly, tell me why Mahakali(Kali) and Mahakal(Shiva) are called as the God and Goddesses of non-Aryans in ancient days.
• Thirdly how are Brahman and Shakti the same Being.
• Fourthly tell me the bad effects of Birbhava.

These are all big questions and rather impossible to answer in a small space, as to explain them properly would involve covering controversies and various evidence. Virbhava (virabhava) is typically talked about in terms of vamamarga (so-called left-hand path) Tantra sadhana, and several texts suggest that without this attitude (of the vira) the vamamarga path is dangerous and will lead to ruin rather than liberation, as it requires total freedom from egoic attachment.

Perhaps the easiest to answer is the third point. Just as for Shaivas, Shiva is Brahman (Infinite Being), for Shaktas the same is true of Shakti (Kali, Durga, etc. - Mahadevi, in essence). This view is clearly delineated in such texts as Saundaryalahari and Tripura Rahasya, as well as Chandi (Devi Mahatmyam). Shakta Scholar (talk) 19:23, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Disturbing you again

Thanks for your answers sir. I do not quite know about the Saundaryalahari and Tripura Rahasya, so please tell me about it in as short as possible. I've one difficulty, if you don't mind, about the 'Barabhay mudra'. It is said that Ramakrishna once showed this during his samadhi in the Kali Puja festival. Also I find this term associated with Kali. So what is this 'Barabhay mudra'? Sir, you know better than me about the tantrics. I wonder how can they call upon the Mother for powers, by which they can rule over others according to their will. Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa has told us that using the powers we get by Sadhana bifurcates our path of Supreme Knowledge and we've to born again in the world of Maya, for the completion of the incomplete work of our past lives. Now, can you tell me why the tantrics run after powers instead of God. I do hope you'll not get angry over me, for disturbing you so much. --Soumit Banerjee (talk) 11:09, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
