The Digital Humanities Observatory

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Digital Humanities Observatory, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://dho.ie/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 09:10, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am happy to send an email from the dho.ie domain to indicate that I created the logo that I uploaded and I have the rights to post it. However, I cannot determine what the email address I should be sending to this is. I see it as

Open Government Partnership

edit

Hi Shawn, I just wanted to get in contact as you've contributed to the Open Government Partnership article. There are a number of further improvements that I think can be made, especially around the three areas below. The OGP is a client of mine so I'm not keen on doing any editing myself, but could help find sources etc if another editor can review then implement the changes. I've declared this on the COI noticeboard just to be safe.
I appreciate you're probably busy working on other Wiki projects so no problem if you don't have time to help.

  • Referencing: The majority of the article is not referenced, but a number of existing online sources (news articles, online books) corroborate the content
  • Linking: Additional internal links can be made to other Wikipedia articles
  • Information Box: An information box can be added to the article to highlight key information about the Open Government Partnership

The article Institute for Collaborative Research in the Humanities has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article on an ephemeral working group, limited referencing, tone suggests promo element. Do not believe passes GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
