Referencing

edit

Please note that punctuation comes before references, not after, as you've been doing when you've added references to South Maitland Railway. Another editor has fixed most of the errors in the article, and I'm fixing the others at the moment. For more information, please see WP:REFPUNCT. --AussieLegend (talk) 05:56, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok then, sorry about that, I will be more careful in future. Shed Rat (talk) 05:33, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Great, which also describes the work you've been doing on that article. --AussieLegend (talk) 05:39, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank for getting the page renamed, I orginally had it as that name when developing it, but when the page was approved for some reason the page name was changed.Shed Rat (talk) 21:00, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

No problems, many thanks for a very informative article. Likewise for your contributions to some of the other New South Wales railway articles.Mo7838 (talk) 22:43, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

J & A Brown

edit

Thanks for your information on J & A Brown. I don't know much about the company but I'm interested in Stephen Brown and so wanted to give some background to him. I do note that there are newspaper references to the company as being J & A Brown Ltd from the early 1920s. Hopefully you can expand and correct what I have already written. Mostly Stephen Tolhurst's work from his original blog page, but the University of Sydney discontinued use of personal blogs and the University of Sydney got IP banned by Wiki

Stephen has lots of material to expand X10 Class, just needs some help =D Hpeterswald (talk) 02:08, 19 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited New South Wales S type carriage stock, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Limited (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited South Maitland Railway Workshops, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Great Northern Railway (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
