• One additional quick note - I would recommend putting together an outline before really setting into writing up the overview, since this can help get everything in order and it can make it easier to find sourcing and also show how one person or event influenced another. Timeline

Hi, I wanted to respond on your talk page about your post on my talk page, where you were wondering if you could/should create a new page for the eugenic feminism timeline.

I see that you already created the article, so my notes are going to be more general advice.

• Offhand my most major concern is that the page would be seen as redundant to the existing article and may end up in this getting merged. This was echoed by another editor, DOOMSDAYER520, who wrote the following on Macie's page:

Thank you for your new article, "Chronology of eugenic feminism in the United States". You are probably aware that there was already an established Eugenic feminism article. Your new article needs to be integrated with, and connected to, that article. In fact, I am wondering why both articles are necessary and perhaps they could be merged. In any case, you should make some effort to entice readers of that older article to jump into your more detailed chronology.

To be honest, my recommendation is to work on refining the page and eventually merge it into the main article.

• With the timeline you still have large sections about individuals. This poses two issues: the first is that this gives them a large amount of weight in the article. Typically timelines don't give such in-depth looks at specific people unless they had very large, huge roles in the topic at hand. I'm honestly not sure that Dugdale and Davenport really justify their own specific sections in the article. I'd have instead mentioned them in passing.

I'm actually going to summarize this in your sandbox as an example of how the timeline should generally read. I think you have a good start here, but it's very important to be careful of how people are mentioned and to what depth.

• OK - I've finished the draft, which is located at User:Shekcelestine/sandbox. I've essentially just summarized the sections and made them briefer, while also somewhat highlighting a person's role in feminism eugenics, as well as whether or not they identified as such so that the viewpoints of those who do identify stand out. I'm going to go and make a post on the talk page for the main article to see what the others think and potentially merge the two pages. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:07, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
