SheldonCohen
Sheldon Cohen article
editThe problem you will face is that your username is the same as the subject of the article. So, the factual question is, are you *that* Sheldon Cohen? If you are writing an article about yourself, it's not that it can't technically be done, but it will raise eyebrows among the reviewer set. So, assuming you *are* the subject. What should you do? (The article is otherwise in my opinion ready to be moved to mainspace.) The challenge will be that you have a conflict of interest. See WP:COI. The defense is disclosure. You could make it in the article's talk page, but that would be awkward. You can also say so on your USER page. You don't need to go into great detail, just that you are SC, and a psych prof. If you are *not* Sheldon Cohen then you should create a new user account, where you do not use a name, just one of those cutesy account names, and repost the article from such page. "Article name"=="User name" seems to be a problem. Any questions? Respond on my talk page. Need help moving the article? Ask. It's likely you can do this yourself. Look towards the top right of the page for "New section". To the right of that is a star. Click on the star. Select "move". Examine the prompts. At that point, give the article the name you want. editHi Sheldon. Sorry about the delay here, real life got in the way. I'm reviewing now, and will come up with a bullet point list for you in a couple of moments re: PPS WormTT 19:17, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
- First things first. Under external links policy, external links should not be linked within the article, but only in the External Link area. Which means I'd suggest removing all the external links there.
- There is no need for a title, if it gets to the main space, there will be one there automatically.
- The article should be verifable, which means that should find some sources that are not self-published and not affiliated with the product, which discusses the subject. See more at identifying reliable sources.
- Why is the scale notable? Is it very widely used? Can you source that?
Hope that helps as a start. WormTT 19:28, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
