Club infobox dates

edit

Hi, when updating club infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 11:55, 8 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your comment and rule of not counting Asian Champions league matches and official Hazfi Cup games is not acceptable refer to page of Cristiano Ronaldo and other players

Hello; on infobox of each player on Wikipedia, ONLY LEAGUE STATS should be mentioned; I have been an active Wikipedian I know these rules very well. By the way, I checked Cristiano Ronaldo and it said 23 games which is the number of league games he played this season. Get your facts right next time.Shervin27 (talk) 14:57, 12 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ayanda Patosi

This is an encyclopedia, not a sports almanac. There is long-standing consensus at WT:FOOTBALL (and reflected in a recent RFC) that we do not include details of every game/goal/assist. That level of detail is not required and it is not useful. GiantSnowman 14:01, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

So you mean his debut date or the first goal he scored for his new club is not significant to point out?? Or even a record-breaking goal for his team?? I can't accept this. These are exactly the details that are mentioned on every footballer's article on Wikipedia. please STOP REVERTING IT for non-sense reasons.Shervin27 (talk) 14:10, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Except of course in the version I restored those details are included - his debut and his first goal. Nothing after that is important. Either way, it does not justify your edit warring and abuse of Twinkle. You ignored my invite to the article talk page as well. GiantSnowman 14:27, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ayanda Patosi; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:29, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
