==Wikipedia, I searched the article for plagiarism, adding citations and paraphrases where they needed to be. I updated the article with relevant information and details, while also contributing new, credible references. I then linked the new information with other wikipedia articles. 1946 Aleutian Islands earthquake

Hi, and welcome to WP. I found that your changes made the article contradict itself, so I've removed your additions, but kept the links that you provided and converted them to external links. Of course we want to encourage participation, especially for new users, but on the other hand, the articles need to be presentable and readable. Wikipedia is a large and complicated environment with all sorts of characters. This can be a bit much at times, so please don't hesitate to ask for help with anything, no matter how small. Brown Ocean Effect

edit

===Wikipedia Users, I have chosen to edit this page in order to expound upon some of the information originally given by the other Wikipedia authors. It was classified as a stub, and I found it a significant topic for additional information provided I could locate it from new, credible references. As new information is being released about this natural disturbance phenomenon, I wanted to ensure the article readers stay updated on current information and provided more detailed explanations regarding the research. I searched the article for plagiarism and fortunately did not find any work that needed revision. The original citations adequately supported the information presented. I then located additional information concerning the 2013 NASA study mentioned in the article and included that as well as adding an outside link to NASAs website with the actual study's findings. I also included more specific information from the same site in order to provide readers with a more in-depth understanding of the brown ocean effect. Lastly, I entered information regarding the examples resented and the introduction from a credible, scientific source not originally provided as a reference. I hope my edits positively contributed to Wikipedia, and I will continue to add them if necessary. Sherwall15 (talk) 02:13, 1 March 2016 (UTC) Sheridan WallReply

1999 Duzce Earthquake

edit

==Wikipedia Users, I have chosen to edit this page in order to provide additional information about this event that was not originally included in the stub of the article. My goal with these Wikipedia article edits is to give readers as much information as possible on concentrated subjects while allowing them easy access to information regarding topics that are interrelated with the article itself. I believe this article about the 1999 Duzce Earthquake was a sufficient platform to accomplish my goal. First, I examined and cross referenced the article for plagiarism. I did not find any, however, I did find a credible source to cite some of the existing information that did not have a clear citation. Next, I added some details to existing information in order to provide a more inclusive explanation of this event. Then I located another source and added new information about damages, measurement data, etc. to provide a more well-rounded understanding of this event. Please let me know what information I have added that could be contradictory to Wikipedia's goal with this topic. If there are any suggestions of the types of information I should include instead, I would be happy to hear them and contribute! Thank you all for your suggestions, I appreciate the opportunity to learn from others' ideas. Sherwall15 (talk) 17:19, 31 March 2016 (UTC) Sheridan WallReply

Pneumococcal pneumonia

edit

==Wikipedia Users, I have chosen to edit this article in order to expand upon the content originally provided, mainly by finding credible sources to back up existing information as well as additional information to elaborate on this disease. First, I evaluated this article for plagiarism, determining several phrases came directly from the Mayo Clinic informational website. I corrected these areas of plagiarism by paraphrasing the content as well as adding in additional relating information. I cited these additions using the original Mayo Clinic source and added an additional one. I also added information about the transmission of this bacteria according to a recent study found on My Health Daily News. Within this paragraph, I linked information to other Wikipedia pages as well as an external link to give readers easy access if they want to explore the topic further. Thank you for allowing me to edit these pages, and please give suggestions to help me improve my editing. Sherwall15 (talk) 17:13, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
