Thanks for tagging this for deletion. For your future reference, speedy deletion tags should be placed at the very top of a page (above even the #REDIRECT code) as this makes it quicker for administrators to delete. Stifle (talk) 14:01, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks I think the hashtag before REDIRECT got deleted in my use of WP:RFD#HOWTO. Never mind - it won't matter if the pages are authorised for deletion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:46, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Listings for "Magic Lamp"at Rfd

It makes sense to me to combine some of these so I shall do so, a few I think should remain as separate discussion. If i get it wrong please feel free to revert, but it is quite normal at RfD to combine if they go to the same target. (Whether they should do is more easily discussed then.) Si Trew (talk) 09:17, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

I've comined them for you, but perhaps not perfectly, because one already had comments on it, and that is unfair on that editor then to kinda to put words in their mouth, I don't think the editor's opinion would be different but have let them know in case they want to change. Si Trew (talk) 09:35, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Thank you! Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:31, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
My pleasure. I make plenty o' mistakes so it is no big deal, I just didn't want to compound your felony by making it worse. Surprised Genie is a redirect. You can't be saying the right words to the bottle (or rather, you are!) (edit conflict) with myself apparently. Si Trew (talk) 15:23, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kuwaiti dinar may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Merger

G7 is a pure economic forum.G7 that derives from the defunct G8 is a political forum. The financial weight of Russia is mostly 0,that's why it isn't and won't ever be in the G7 (economic forum). Now you know ,if you merge i doubt.151.40.90.18 (talk) 22:49, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tom Webb-Bowen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thomas Bowen. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Mary Lou

Hallo, although a merge proposal had been put on the page Mary Louise, there was no indication at Mary Lou or Mary Lou (name), and I object to the idea of merging these dab pages. It might have been wise to check that the merge notifications had been done properly before embarking on the merges.

The films and songs using the title Mary Lou are appropriate for a dab page of that name, and it doesn't seem useful to put them on the Mary Louise dab page. I'm sorry to undo your morning's work, but I really don't believe that the merge was appropriate, and it was not notified to me as creator of the dab page, nor to any other page watchers of the merged dab pages. I've undone a couple of your major edits but possibly left things now in a bit of a mess, sorry, but because incoming double redirects get fixed by a bot quite quickly after page moves I was concerned to undo the move/merge as soon as possible.

I don't have a problem with the name pages being combined. PamD 08:50, 30 January 2017 (UTC)

PamDYour speedy reversion to my good-faith edits has, indeed, undone (some of) my morning's work (which is irritating but I'll get over it), and now left a number of pages in a mess or duplicating material (which is irritating but I'm not going to fix it) . If that is really what you wanted to do, having reflected on the utility of the new pages, go ahead and clear up the mess, including See also entries on the other pages and edits to Talk pages. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:03, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
And while you're at it, you can fix all the incorrect links from L. Frank Baum and associated pages, because I'm now not going to do that Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:06, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
I think I've now left things in a reasonable state: Mary Louise (name) including all the varations, but dab pages at Mary Lou, Marylou, and Mary Louise. Only problem being that the latter is so short - only the ship to add to the name - that perhaps we should move Mary Louise (name) to be the primary topic, with a hatnote pointing to the ship; I think a name page can have a hatnote even though a dab page wouldn't.
I'm sorry you're upset - I was upset too, finding that a dab page I'd created had been merged away with no notification to me, even as a page-watcher. I see that there had been notification at Marylou, so don't know what went wrong with Mary Lou. PamD 09:20, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
PamD 09:20, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
I can't see any link from L. Frank Baum. Where are the links you say need fixing? PamD 09:23, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Found it - a link in a template, which I suspect should be a redlinked Mary Louise (novel). PamD 09:27, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Fixed the link in the template, redirecting to The Bluebird Books, and added to the Mary Louise dab page - which now looks more like a worthwhile dab page as it's got three entries. I think once the template update works through the system there should be few or no incoming links left to Mary Louise. PamD 09:36, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Just fixed another incoming link - a horse. PamD 09:41, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
