Please do not add Best Picture Academy Award to an actor/actress's infobox. The infobox should only contain awards won by the actor, not the film. Wikipedia has guidelines for these sorts of things. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 00:41, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Mary J. Blige - Be Happy (1994).jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Mary J. Blige - Be Happy (1994).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:41, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
IMDb does not list a BAFTA award for him. Could you please identify the specific award and year he won? Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 22:34, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Eddie (1996).jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eddie (1996).jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 21:52, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Image:Eddie (1996).jpg
editA tag has been placed on Image:Eddie (1996).jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Eddie (1996).jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. richi (talk) 22:39, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Adding erroneous information
editPlease do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to James Patrick O'Malley. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JGHowes talk - 22:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to James Brown, you will be blocked from editing. richi (talk) 23:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Repeatedly adding unsourced information
edit This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

Wikilinks
editThe patience of several editors is wearing very thin with your mindless edits. Your latest blunder is here. Let's look at what you did. You wikilinked the word "mini" without taking two seconds to see where such a link goes. In fact it goes to an article about an automobile. And what does an automobile have to do with a "minifilm"? NOTHING. Wikipedia can't read your mind and figure out what you're trying to do. Read Help:Link and WP:LINK before creating any more wikilinks so the rest of us don't have to clean up after you. editCopyrighted images
editPlease do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Darien Sills Evans. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. Note that Wikipedia policy generally does not allow non-free images on the biographical page of a living person. Ward3001 (talk) 23:58, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Eddie_(1996).jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eddie_(1996).jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. editHi, please don't put "Grammy Award winning" in the first sentence of articles. It doesn't comply with WP:NPOV - see WT:Neutral point of view/Archive 29#POV in first sentence?. It's fine in the intro, but not the first sentence. Thanks. Spellcast (talk) 06:53, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:34, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
