Elbaz was born and raised in Be'er Sheva . He graduated from the Beer Sheva Conservatory , Academy of Music and Dance for and conducting faculties, and the Music Academy in Amsterdam . Studied with conductors Prof. Mendi Rodan , Peter Eotvos, David Forslein, and Roland Kift. Conducted the New Chamber Orchestra of Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and Harlem . Since 2002 has served as music director and principal conductor of the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra of Ashdod. In 2006 the band won in the Israel Prize for his contribution to society and the state in the field of culture . Listed as a conductor and soloist mandolin in many countries and with most of the major orchestras in Israel, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra , Israel Chamber Orchestra , Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra , Ensemble 21st century, Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva , Ashdod Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Lezion , Israel Kibbutz Orchestra, Israel Stage Orchestra and more. Elbaz arranger and orchestrator deals with musical productions and numerous recordings for bands, singers and many artists. The request of the cellist Mstislav Rostropovich , Elbaz established the "Israeli Mandolin Quartet," which was hailed its first record and played stations Radio country, in Europe and in the United States . In August 2003 the quartet won first prize at the prestigious international ensembles string instruments , held in La Rioja , Spain . Elbaz recorded the sonatas and partitas for violin solo by Johann Sebastian Bach world premiere recording, mandolin. The recording won the interest and played numerous times on radio stations around the world. In - in 2000 initiated the International Festival Elbaz plucked string instruments in Beersheba, and served as artistic director. In 2007 he won Beersheba excellence in music. Elbaz deals while working as a musician, even in music education in schools, conservatories and colleges. In 2002-2005 he was a lecturer at Haifa University Department of Music and Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, and he taught music theory courses. In 2004 he founded the music school in Netivot , and since then runs it. Engaged in education and in fostering excellence centers of excellence in the Negev.
