You sent me an email with the following text:

Hello Jacob,
You haven't explained why you deleted my edit from Nature. Is it because it's preliminary? Mice only? Not enough data about gallic acid? Etc.
Thanks!
Shoshie

It is usually not necessary to email me, as I view my talk page several times a week. I presume the edit you are referring to is the one you made to Colorectal cancer[1] in which you added an academic reference to the "External links" section. There are lots of reasons why I didn't think the edit was helpful. Broadly speaking, the "External links" section is not really for new encyclopedia information. Also, the kind of study you added wouldn't have been a particularly useful source because it is a "primary source" (see WP:PSTS and WP:MEDRS for details). I hope this explains everything - let me know if I can help further. JFW | T@lk 21:48, 15 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Actually what I've read was a second source though a sort of announcement, like this one. We'll wait for a different one Shoshie8 (talk) 05:41, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
