Final warning
editThis is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ragib (talk) 09:11, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, all you are doing is cut-pasting content from some book into these articles. You cannot cut-paste content from other books. I appreciate your effort to write about this subject, but you need to provide references from established sources of historical info. All your edits seem to be a massive cut paste job. Wikipedia is not the place to write your own family history. And copyright issues are handled seriously. Please refrain from cut-pasting content here, and also add only info from established, reliable third party sources. Thank you. --Ragib (talk) 09:18, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. First of all, I would like to clarify that you are always welcome to add content to wikipedia articles. My concern above was that you are adding content directly from a printed/published source, without re-phrasing it. Due to copyright issues, we cannot add content directly from copyrighted sources.
Next, you can add book citations using {{cite book}} template. See WP:REF to learn how to add references.
Now, I have no doubt that these persons are quite notable in the history of Bangladesh. But the text you keep adding seems a direct copy, either from printed or web based documents. The text is quite unencyclopedic and POV in tone, and content of such tone cannot be used here .... this is after all an encyclopedia and not just a biography site.
User:Aditya Kabir mentioned that he is willing to help you with these articles. In the mean time, please do not revert to your versions repeatedly. We also need reliable sources ... and the sources you mentioned are not reliable sources at all. --Ragib (talk) 07:44, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
