Hello,

I am new to wiki and am co-writting the article on Mdvanii.

You said that it may have a neologism. Mdvaniiism is a term, as explained, used by the artists since the beginning but publically as of the mid-1990s. It is used and signed on all of their work and explained in museum shows etc.

How can I use documentation as citations in the article to have that warning "neologism" removed?

Any help you can offer will be greatly apprecviated. I am striving to make the article perfect and neutral and completely encyclopedic. The subject is very rich though and requires explaining as it is a very unusual work of art and created by authors who work in a number of fields.

I also would like to know what "weasel words" need to be removed or changed. I have already removed alot of them a few days ago. If you can guide me to an editor or someone to really help me, I'd appreciate it. I am having a slow time adding the citations as they are technical and require alot of technical ability I am not expert at ...

I would really appreciate your help.

Hello,

The links provided in the warnings offer hints and should clarify any questions you may have. Silver Edge Reason (talk) 01:23, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the reply. I have read them, but I am not sure how to implicate them into the article. I also don't know when and how I have achieved the necessary and how to remove those warnings on the article....some of the warnings i don't even feel are really approrpiate for the article,..such as the one which says us 8the authors) may be "too close" to the subject. This is not true.

Also, the Neologism warning is inapprorpiate to as the word "Mdvaniiism" is a term invented by the authors since the 80s when they started and used publically since the mid-1990s and signed on all there work which is shown throguht the world in museums (see the references added so far, we have many, many more)...so it's definitely not a Neologism. It has been extensively written about in contemproary art venues etc (including the publications for museums as cited in the references)...

Tone, I am trying to undertand how to make it the correct tone. Its not easy since allwhich has been written is true and documented. For example, "award winning" poet Gerard Wozek...how do I add a citation to list his awards?

So how and when do I get these warnings removed? I don't want to remove them myself because I don't know if this is against wiki rules. I really need some editoral help and a mentor...I have requested for one but am still waiting for further replies.

If you cannot help me specifically, i understand but can you guide me to someone who can? All help is appreciated.

I understand, and will remove the "weasel words" and "neologism" warnings. Silver Edge Reason (talk) 02:10, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much.I will add citations as soon as I figure it out. I am trying to still figure out how to put basic citations where it says "citation needed".

For example:

For "award-winning poet Gerard Wozek", this is the info:

{{Eric Hoffer Book Award 2008 "Notable Distinction" for "Postcards from Heartthrob Town" in the category of "Memoir.", Potenza 2005 Film Festival: "Short Films and Other Stories", Video Poetry Award 2005, First Place for the videopoem, "Dance of the Electric Moccasins."Gival Press First Book Poetry Prize 2000 for "Dervish"}}

I want to put it next to the word "award winning"....

How do I do it?

Does the citation actually sit inside the sentence in these symbols {{ }}? or am I missing something...shouldn't it appear down in the REFERENCES section?

I wish someone would just tell me once so I can do it,..I have read as much as possible, but I must be misunderstanding something really easy because it is not working, unless it's supposed to sit there inside the actual sentence....

Please let me know, I'd so much appreciate it...i am slowly adding all requested citations regarding books etc, that i have gotten the knack of...it's this "citation needed" which is escaping my command and understanding.

Many thanks and regards, AJ Alec jiri (talk) 02:26, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
