Please stop adding a blog as a source in the Karbeas article. Blogs are not WP:RS, and much of the info contained there is inaccurate. BTW, principality means any state or statelet led by a monarchical figure, not necessarily one holding the title of "prince". --Constantine ✍ 06:01, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

He was the secular leader of an independent state, which he apparently led without being constrained by any other person or council. That makes him a monarch ("single-ruler"). If he were a Muslim, he'd be an emir. Constantine ✍ 06:27, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
