Restaurant-Events.com Initial Posting
edit- This is not an advertisement. As I publish for the greater good of Wikipedia, I feel that people would like to be able to lookup business they might work with. I live in Boulder, Colorado and know of this local business. I even requested via email to use the logo on Wikipedia with the CC-License. Instead of quickly deleting this article, please talk here and help me make the article into something that is viable and usable within the Wikipedia regulations. That would of been more helpful then deleting the article in it's entirety. (I was more than surprised, since I am not trying to advertise anybody, wow). Thanks in advance. simplycreative | Talk Page 18:04, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Contested deletion
edit- This page should not be speedy deleted because... This article was not aimed as an advertisement. I have no affiliation with the company. I am simply publishing an article explaining what that dot-com business does. Just like Register.com, which is a large online business -- I have the same intentions to display accurate information regarding this online business. I have another 4-5 articles similar to that regarding online companies that I feel need a Wikipedia article and would be informative for the Wikipedia viewers to see. Instead of "Speedy Deletion" can we please work on this article together on developing it so that it doesn't sound like an advertisement please. Thank you in advance for your help (not deletion). --simplycreative | Talk Page 18:54, 23 May 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simplycreative (talk • contribs)
- One more comment on this article. I want this to be very clear that I have no affiliation with this company and that I am simply writing this article (among others that are similiar) to be informative to the end-users and viewers. I have contributed many times to the Wikipedia Foundation and have read all of the Guidelines and have a great understanding of what the requirements are for each type of article. Initially this article did have a advertisement-feel to it, but that was not my intentions. Admins, please don't delete this page and let me clean it up with valid citations and sources. Thanks in advance. simplycreative | Talk Page 19:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
