Requesting a block

edit

Before requesting a block, please try to come to a consensus with other editors. For the most part, other editors are only trying to improve the encyclopedia. However, there are vandals, editors with a conflict of interest, and POV-pushers, but most editors are none of those. To request a block of 12.182.80.222 (talk · contribs), please see the Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism notice board. There are instructions there about when to make a report and how to make a report:

  1. The edits of the user you are reporting must be considered vandalism.
  2. The user must be given sufficient recent warnings to stop.
  3. Unregistered users must be active now, and the warnings must be recent.—C45207 | Talk 20:39, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
As far as I can tell, 12.182.80.222 has not been blocked [1]. Is there a reason that you included the blocked templates in your recent edit [2] to User talk:12.182.80.222? Thanks for helping clear this up for me.—C45207 | Talk 21:00, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from abusing warning or blocking templates, as you did to User talk:72.79.80.198. Doing so is a violation of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. You may warn this user or wait for an administrator to step in, but please do NOT try to bluff by claiming that the IP has been blocked, when in fact it hasn't.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:24, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
