CS1 error on Type 32 frigate
editHello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Type 32 frigate, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 19:09, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 15
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Global Combat Air Programme, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Leonardo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 06:11, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Using Twitter/X as a source
editHi. Please avoid using Twitter/X as a source. WP:RSPX refers. For your recent CAAM edits; whether or not @Gabriel64869839 on X is a subject matter expert is up for debate. However there will be reputable/reliable sources that could be used instead. Mark83 (talk) 17:23, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- Ah, thank you Mark! I'll make sure to avoid that from now on.
- Also thank you for vetting my contributions over these last few months, I know I've mucked up previously as you might remember with the Type 83 destroyer. Your corrections and your own work elsewhere on Wikipedia has been incredible useful learning material to improve my own contributions and I'm quite ashamed to not have personally thanked you sooner. Sir JackMarr (talk) 09:34, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for this - but I feel that it's important for me to say that I had a bumpier start to my Wikipedia editing than you have had! And no need for the apology at all. Let me know if I can be of any help. Mark83 (talk) 16:22, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
Grammar w.r.t. companies
editHi. I wouldn't bother you about the odd grammatical issue, we all make mistakes and my edits need others to tidy them up sometimes. I just spotted an ongoing error in some of your edits, i.e. that companies are singular, not plural. Therefore (for example) it should be "Rolls-Royce announced that it is..." not "Rolls-Royce announced that they are..." etc. etc. Mark83 (talk) 14:15, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Ah good spot, thank you Mark! I'll keep that in mind from now on. Sir JackMarr (talk) 14:37, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
Original research/sources required
editPlease do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to CAMM (missile family). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Mark83 (talk) 10:01, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
