editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please remember that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Uncommon Valour. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Non-Dropframe talk 23:31, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
Welcome!
editHello, Sir Thomas Sinclair, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Uncommon Valour, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Hello Sir Thomas. I hope you are not overwhelmed by the three welcome messages above; they each, while different, contain information which should be of use to you.
In particular, i hope you will see and take to heart the message about COI (conflict of interest) editing. The fact that you are the author of Uncommon Valour does not mean you get to control what is in the article. In fact, as annoying as it may be, it probably means that you don't! The general recommendation is that people with a COI do not actually edit the article itself, rather the Talk page is the place to make suggestions and requests, and other editors are usually left to make those changes. This is not a demand nor an absolute, but best practice is best practice.
If i can help, please leave me a message here (i'll be watching this page for a couple of weeks), my talk page or, if it's about Uncommon Valour itself, the article's talk page would be best. Cheers, LindsayHello 02:16, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
